CSP have recently added the IDX Camwave Wireless HD-Video Transmission System to hire stock. The IDX Camwave System features 30mtr line of sight transmission of HD-SDI and SD-SDI video signals and two channel embedded audio for complete audio and video syncronization. The system has been used to great success and in particular for helping conferences and awards evevning, give more versatility for live camera shots.
We have now invetsed in Full HD projectors, Based on the PLC-XF1000 chassis, the PLC-HF10000L offers 2K resolution (2048×1080) and delivers a brightness output of 10,000 ANSI. Inorganic optical components and extended contrast ratio (3000:1), coupled with QUADrive optical engine for accurate colour reproduction ensures the delivery of high quality images. HDSDI, HDMI, DVI-D, Dsub-15 and RGBHV inputs provide compatibility with a wide range of analogue and digital signals also compatible with the current XF series lenses es with an existing investment in XF series product. Combined with this extensive range of optional lenses, lens shift and keystone correction provide installation flexibility, while network control, including control of lens shift, zoom and focus enables remote set up of the projector once the unit has been installed.
Another new HD product hits our hire shelves, we have recently invested in the new Panasonic HS-50 The compact, multi-format live HD/SD switcher offers 10-bit processing, four HD/SD-SDI inputs and one HD DVI-D input, as well as a built-in MultiViewer, Chroma Keyer, Aux Bus, 1080/29.94PsF support, and more.
Ideal for mobile production, live events and more, the half-rack width HS50′s built-in MultiViewer allows users to view four, nine, or 10 images on a single display-significantly reducing the cost, size and weight of a complete HD production system.
Already used at a recent awards evening with 3 PMW EX3 HD camera’s a analogue way OPS300 HD switcher and a sanyo PLCHF10000L 2k projector, the feedback from the event was excellent, with our client being very impressed by the qualty of all the screen content.

CSP have just added 500m of Kramer DVI fibre Optic cable to their hire stock, after a recent high demand for high definition signal over long distance, CSP needed a rugged product that could cope with demands of a busy rental stock, after many product tests kramers product came out on top.
CSP have recently added mac book pro’s to the hire inventory, all loaded with Playback pro. PlaybackPro is a fully modern Macintosh application that takes advantage of improvements in software stability and graphics capabilities. Using one output as the operator interface, it sends clean video to the secondary video output, utilizing the graphics card for hardware acceleration with complete control over size, aspect ratio and levels. Since it provides much greater flexibility in both the field and studio, it is intended to replace hardware DDRs (digital disk recorders), DVD players and video tape machines.

We have recently purchased the new analog way OPS 300 Switcher/scaler, already stocking Di Ventix, Octo Vue FX and octo’s, the OPS 300 is a much welcomed product to our hire stock, giving us more flexability with HDSDI-SDI and DVI inputs and outputs, it has already been put through its paces on a recent roadshow. The SB168-ES is an affordable 3U-size stage box that utilizes EtherSound technology to propagate digital sound signals. When connected to popular all-in-one digital consoles like the PM5D, LS9, or M7CL, the SB168-ES offers superb support for live sound. 16 channels of sonically-superb remote analog input — each with its own head amp — and 8 channels of analog output. Multiple units may be daisy-chained in sequence for simultaneous use. The SB168-ES also functions as both as a conventional EtherSound device — an analog input-output box. Compared to a conventional analog console + analog multicore the SB168-ES is noise resistant, and lets you boost quality by keeping the length of microphone cables as short as possible. Even more, the SB168-ES is easy to set up, so that any time, effort, or money needed for equipment installation are significantly reduced.
